The calculation is: Air Watts = Water lift X CFM/ 8.5 Maximum Air Watts is used by many in the vacuum industry to measure the amount of air power available to power air-driven power nozzles. We at Hayden believe air-driven nozzles are inferior because they cannot agitate and vibrate, and we supply only electrically-driven nozzles with superior dirt-loosening capability. Therefore, Air Watts are pretty much irrelevant units of measure.
